I wasn't able to go, but watched a report from Big Daddy Lawler. The 2022 season will started 3/25, and you can only kill one the first 10 days. Season limit is 4. I couldn't understand much that the woman doing the report said, so I don't know when it goes out.

10 Republicans appointed to the CAB by a Republican governor, and nearly all caved in and voted like liberal Democrats. It doesn't matter whether it's the Supreme Court or a state board, the Democrats stay 100% true to their principles no matter what, but about half the Republicans will cave in on any issue.

Chuckie's proposal was even more radical, and wouldn't have started the season until April 1, so you know that he won't be stopping here. Just the next step.

I guess from here on out, I’ll join the others, and just hunt and manage my places when and how I want. I do a much better job than the state, and it’s been a long long time since they have made any changes to benefit wildlife.

Same here. There’s no accountability anyways with this honor system game check BS. The guys that have always killed five or more will still kill five or more.

Here is a screenshot someone sent me of what was originally proposed by the dcnr. What passed was apparently a compromise presented by one of the CAB members. Anyone know who made it?

It looks like a standard play from the Democratic play book - propose something extremely radical, then agree to something a little less radical and the Republicans see it as a victory. Many times, especially on the national level, that's the best they can do. It bothers me to no end when they give in like this in a setting where they have the power to crush the enemy.

Bottom line, NO changes for this year. IS THAT CORRECT?

I do support the ban on decoys but I know not everybody agrees on that

Statistically my best seasons were decoy free - my biggest issues are around having turkeys or not - I will like traveling lighter
