The biggest failure in all the shifting will be the lack of creating a southern zone. That truly shows the ignorance of the people suggesting and making decisions.
I call it , "smart people doing stupid s**t." The northern 1/3 of the state having deer season extended into Feb. comes to mind.
At least with the February extension, I can understand how complicated that would be trying to satisfy all the little pockets of late rut scattered around north bama. With turkeys, it’s as simple as drawing a line across the state at Montgomery.
