I was able to scout a new location and he was able to experience kind of what it is like. Though he found a nice stick that resembled an Indian battle weapon and gave some tree limbs the what for. Quit at 10 and had pizza and ice cream. I think he is looking forward to his second trip.

It was dead quiet here in Jefferson County this morning...I finally spotted a flock of turkeys in a field about 11:45 and they wanted nothing to do with my calling. They were in a good spot for me to get down in a creek and move in on them. I snuck within about 75 yards of the strutter and soft called to him a few times. “Curiosity killed the cat” after about 10 minutes and he came on in to about 35 yards before I released the TSS...my first one with TSS and it was probably the bloodiest head I’ve ever killed. This one’s for the CAB!!!

Never heard one that early. Bout daylight the crows got to cutting and then there were two gobbling. They were all henned up. So I backed out and went to work. Came back and called up 3 jakes. Enough fun for my day. CONGRATS KILLAZ
