I have to fill up several times a week between the truck and the lawn equipment but I filled all of that before I’d even heard about the supply disruption. The girlfriend went from and back to the hospital(nurse) this morning. The stations on her way that had fuel were 3-4 deep per pump trying to get gas. I’m going to go fill a spare can or two shortly in case I have to bring her fuel to get home tonight,

I told my wife , if it gets bad and we can't get to work, I've got 50 gal in the boat. We'll pump out enough to get the truck to the boat ramp and back and we'll go fishing.

No panic here. Seen it coming when they announced the attack. Needed gas so I filled up. Told my wife to do the same. We had full tanks before the panic set in and the stations got crowded.

Just stopped at the local outdoor store. Manager said she tried to order bulk desiel and her supplier told her there was none left in the state of Georgia.
I was more worried about the $4.55/ bale of LL pine straw she quoted me. This fuel situation is only going to make everything more expensive even if it is short lived.

Just filled up in Columbus, ga. The first station I stopped at was out, the second was a mad house but I got filled up. 730 Miles till empty so I can get to work and back 3 times. Hope I can find diesel in Montgomery tomorrow or I won't need that many trips.
What you do today, you have to sleep with tonight.

Between my truck and MrsGomers car, we’ve got about 700 miles worth of gas. We both work from home and both kids schools are less than 3 miles from home along with several restaurants and a grocery store. We can hold out a while

Just stopped to fill up the first time this week. Station was full of IDOTS filling up every 2 or 5 gallon can they own. Panic buying only accelerates the shortage... If the gas runs out next week, you've got an extra 100 miles in that 5 gallon can. Two days later you're still gonna be out of gas....

How does the gas situation look around jackson ms. I got to run down there for work in the morning and back Should be fine...mainly the coastal counties that are more affected. Commissioner Gipson continued, “The East Coast and landlocked states without refineries may see disruptions. You’ll see it on the news, I’m sure. But the Colonial Pipeline supplies less than 30 percent of the fuel in Mississippi. Our river terminals at Vicksburg, Greenville and Aberdeen are continuing to receive an abundant supply of product – increased, even, because of the the delay in shipping on the pipeline. Our land terminals are continuing to fill orders. The Plantation Pipeline is increasing supply and the Pascagoula Chevron Refinery is operating without disruption.”
experience is a freakin' awesome teacher....

It would have been a VERY mild inconvenience for everyone, but the panickers/hoarders are once again creating a big problem for everyone.

Folks on the coast (Mobile, Baldwin, Escambia, Washington, Clarke, Monroe, etc) that are panic buying literally have no clue that pretty much all of our gasoline comes directly from the refineries (Shell in Mobile, Chevron Pascagoula) via truck. There will be ZERO shortages there if folks would settle down and not completely lose their minds.

At some point I fill up my truck once a week. Depending on how often I go to the country to play determines how much I have to put in to top it off for my weekend at FEMA. I might have to go twice during the week during hunting season. I went today and did my weekly chore. I also took my can for lawn mower gas. I filled the one for 4 wheeler gas up before the panic started. I had no line or no wait and no sign of a shortage. They had plenty of regular and No ethanol.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Got home this afternoon, on the way home I stopped at the Shell station near'ish the vet school and filled up. It appeared that they did not have 89 octane, which for me doesn't matter as I burn 87 octane.
Tomorrow I might head to Kia but I won't be traveling too far right now.
