Alabama just passed a law saying LEOs or former LEOs are exempt from the car tint law. And it it passed without opposition. SMDH Supposed to conceal the identity of LEOs and family from bad guys. Hey now they can just look for cars with tinted windows. Hey look a cop!

A lot of cops may be great folks...maybe even a majority of them....but never forget that a good portion of them believe they should answer to a different set of rules than the rest of us....this is just another example.

I’m perfectly fine with any law enforcement vehicle having blacked out windows but it is absolutely horsechit to extend that courtesy to retired LEO and/or PERSONAL vehicles of active LEO.

At gunschool we were placed inside a 5000 sqft. Killhouse complete with catwalk above after 5 runs we were told "Your in whereeverstan" I picked up the phone and called help. My fellow students (police officers) didn't. They were judged dead. Instructors explained "You've been through this thing 5x it's called a killhouse for a reason! Dave may be blind fat and slow but he called the Military to deal with a Military problem Cops are Defensive in nature Military is Offensive why do you think we have A10's and tanks?" Feelings were hurt.
Skinny is my EX.Alcohol was involved.

Half the vehicles in our area are in violation of the tint law. It is not enforced at all. Funny that they wasted ink to pass another law about window tint. This
