After 10-days of torture, the rash is spreading again to new places. Back to the Dr in the morning.

If it’s anything like oak, a shot of steroids did wonders for me awhile back.

Tecnu, best there is to take the oil off after exposure. I just took a decadron shot because I got it on my legs and did not know it.

Scrub the areas where you know you came in contact just like you are trying to remove grease from working on your car.

Dawn soon after exposure will help. Steroids will lessen the severity of it but you just have to wait it out and apply topicals to it. I’ve compounded some stuff before that was a 1:1 ratio of Benadryl and triamcinolone cream. That seems to lessen the symptoms as well.

Day 12 with the itch.... new doctor yesterday and on the plan above.

It doesnt bother me too bad, but I saw a video one time that explained that PI oil is VERY sticky, similar to grease. And a simple washing of hands will not get it off. They said to use dawn soap and a dishrag and wash it really good. Then get a fresh clean towel and do it again. Works best if you can wash it off quickly after exposure.

I love my country, but don't trust my government.
