I went out there today and went around the field, about 12 feet in on the northside and probably 8 on the other with the subsoiler. I would say it probably needed it. Lot's of heavy compacted clay. It supposed to rain this week, so I left it alone. I will probably try to run the disk over next weekend. The rest of the field seems to be doing pretty good.

Then I went to another spot, that is basically a log deck. probably 6 year old cutover on one side, and thinned on the other. We have one side of the road planted, but I subsoiled the other side to expand it. That was tough. big chunks of clay, very hard to rip through it. But I got it. Let it sit too. I need to add some lime to it.
