In the studies I’ve seen the JJ vaccine produces on average lower antibody titers than either the Pfizer or moderna vaccine.

The vaccines do not “prevent” you from contracting Covid. They do however on average greatly reduce the severity of your illness and subsequent risk of hospitalization and death. With all the vaccines it takes several weeks after having had the last dose to receive full therapeutic benefit from the vaccine.
