I've already learned my lesson on these games like this.......They get made out to be like its a marquee game and then Bama blows whoever it is's doors off........This one will be no different and I suspect maybe even a little worse.........It'll be over by halftime. They keep scheduling teams that were good back in the '90s. It's like watching Tyson Fury beat up George Foreman.

I've already learned my lesson on these games like this.......They get made out to be like its a marquee game and then Bama blows whoever it is's doors off........This one will be no different and I suspect maybe even a little worse.........It'll be over by halftime. They keep scheduling teams that were good back in the '90s. It's like watching Tyson Fury beat up George Foreman. Really what can they do though........They're just that much better than everyone else these days.

The Chick-Fil-A bowl committee (and I think the Cotton Bowl committee in Dallas) chooses the opponent. They attempt to get the best matchup they can. In 2019 when Bama opened vs Duke, Clemson was offered the game...they turned it down, as well as two or three other teams from the ACC. It's a two way street. A lot of teams don't want to play Bama in the first game of the year. When you're limited to an ACC opponent in that game, the choices of quality opponents are low.

Yeah, I mean playing #14, the third best team in the ACC is a pure patty cake game. Bama really needs to step up, especially since the conference they play in is a joke.
