90 is going to be a heck of a price on the wallet and the insurance premiums. That 20 over isn't going to help you. So, you can take the chance with a lawyer and court. Someone else said it, a good lawyer may be more than the ticket, but the jack in premiums may cost more.

I’d be surprised if you got off using Life360. As stated already it’s not the most accurate for both speed or location.

Having been a teenager once myself, if I got a ticket going over 90mph I'm pretty sure I would have thought my parents would be really upset. I probably would have checked the app first to see if it recorded my speed and if it didn't I might have pretended to let my parents check and see that I apparently went the speed limit!
Not trying to say your son was lying but this may be a possibility. Maybe the app doesn't work that way?? Probably just my suspicious mind when it comes to my kids but my boys didn't always come entirely clean at times! If I am wrong then I would probably go to court.
