If i die tomorrow, i would appreciate it if no one used my death as a way to promote their opinion. Thats just tacky and would be disrespectful of my memory. Surely there would be some better way for me to be remembered. Spot on. Its pathetic when folks push their agendas on others. I don’t have an agenda, just a set of facts. Over 20 friends and acquaintances passed away. None vaccinated. I don’t know of anyone vaccinated who has passed away. Just facts. Feel free to keep scrolling

Sorry for yours and everyone else's loss Jawbone. This damn virus has changed a lot if lives. Oh, and que gmhunter with 27 links to absolute clot shot facts against them.

Spot on. Its pathetic when folks push their agendas on others.

You and jwalker turned it to antivax rhetoric. [/quote] You might want to read the first sentence. It started out as vax pushing rhetoric. The man used the death of his friends to push his opinion on the "vaccine". Thats a fact. And Eclipse, if you think im the kind of fella that would do that, please comb through my posts and show me where i did that. There have certainly been plenty of opportunities. Regarding death i usually try to be respectful. But if you want to post up an article or opinion, ill comment just like everybody else. Some things are just better left alone. Im sure the families of those five dead friends would agree.

Some things are just better left alone. Im sure the families of those five dead friends would agree. Actually, the families of deceased people who were unvaccinated that I know of are doing the exact opposite - they've become advocates of the vaccine and most seem to be very outspoken about it. They're usually up front honest about why they didn't get the vaccine and why they have changed their mind. That's just the people I know - it may not be that way with others though.

Sorry for your loss, but the reason people don’t want to take the vaccine has nothing to do with knowing people who died from covid. People aren’t willing to take it now because A. Congress, their staff and families, and the USPS are exempt from the vaccine. B. All illegal immigrants and refugees are exempt from the vaccine. C. Our president said the unvaccinated need to be vaccinated to protect those already vaccinated??? D. Why do the companies producing the vaccine have no liability and why is the us government pushing so hard for Pfizer? Again I think everyone is sorry for your loss. I’ll more than likely get jabbed next week because I have a mortgage and need to eat and sleep dry, but these 4 unanswered questions I typed need firm honest answers backed up by firm medical data before the government and branch covidian religion are going to make any headway towards everyone blindly agreeing to their doctrine. I believe it’s everyone’s right to decide if they want the vaccine or not but with regards to D above, vaccine makers have had almost complete immunity since Reagan signed the National Childhood vaccine injury Act in 1986. They also created a means of compensation for those injuries that the GOVERNMENT pays which was the VICP which has paid out $3.9 billion dollars since it was passed. They passed the PREP act for the COVID vaccines to include the people who administer the vaccines as being immune from liability. They also created another means of compensation, CICP, which the government also pays. Now whether the government stands behind the CICP and actually pays any claims remains to be seen. While I agree there are definite arguments to be made about the vaccines, the immunity deal is not one of them.

I just like to cut thru all the BS so that people might actually have some good info as to whether to take it or not. Here’s some facts for you JmJ120, since you stated “facts” earlier in your post. There were right at 10,000 Covid deaths in Alabama before the first vaccine was even available. Thru yesterday, there have been 12,673 total deaths. That means since the vax came into play, roughy 2,673 people have died. Youre saying you personally have lost over 20 friends and acquaintances. So You personally knew 1% of all the deaths occurring in Alabama since the vax came out. That means you have to be one of three things: a liar, the unluckiest guy in the world, or you run with some of the most unhealthy people in the US.
If you are telliing the truth, prayers for you and those around you. I’m not anti-vax but I hate seeing lies and misinformation being spread wholesale trying to scare people into doing something. It makes it real hard to evaluate the risk and reward and make an informed decision as to whether to take the shot or not. Here’s my personal experience:
I know 4 people that have died from Covid. One was Male, 64 and had serious lung problems due to asbestos exposure and was fully vaxed. I know another that was 74 female, probably 125lbs overweight and diabetic unvaxed. Third was a 48yr old male, 50-75lbs overweight, no other known health problems Unvaxed .
And lastly, I know one 62 yr old female, 5’’6” 130 lbs, great shape, zero health problems, got the (moderna)shot at 8:00 am, started feeling bad with a headache about 4:30, told her husband she was going to take a nap before dinner and laid down on the couch. He went to wake her up for dinner at 6:30 pm and she was not breathing, pronounced dead at 7:30 pm, 11.5 hrs after getting the jab.
So excuse me If the vax doesn’t have a stellar track record in my little world. Vax didn’t save one, may have killed one, and two died that possibly would not have if they were vaxed. Personal experience leads one to be skeptical when seeing people posting obvious BS (like personally knowing 1% of all the deaths in AL) and then telling people to get vaxed every other post. If you’re making yourself feel better about your decision by posting then by all means do so, just tell people what you’re doing it so that it doesn’t influence them. I know a ton of people that have taken the jab and not had any problems yet, Numerous vaxed and even more completely unvaxed people that have had Covid and gotten over it just fine on their own, and a I also know a ton of people like me, trying to sort thru all the BS, statistical manipulation, and outright lies in an attempt to figure out whether it’s worth it or not to take a vaccine for which zero, long term clinical trials have been performed. Regardless of ones stance, it should be a personal decision and everyone, both vaxed and unvaxed should be praying for the end of this virus and each other’s health and safety.
Jawbone, prayers for you and the families of those that you know that have passed. Same for you and yours JMJ
