Me - College educated, successful 35+ year career, management positions as high as Director for a $250 million dollar company, currently materials procurement lead for a billion $+ company, managing an annual budget of over $100 million.

I ain't taking the shot. Exactly why do you care? Who can it possibly impact other than me and my family? If you are vaxxed (and you really believe that your vax will work), what possible impact does my decision have on you?

The democrats have never done one thing that helped me, and now they INSIST that I take an experimental shot "for my own benefit" and "to protect the vaccinated"

Well the tally of friends dying rose one more today but this one had nothing to do with Covid. Since I started this thread and people are accusing some of pushing an agenda let me be clear. It is your choice whether or not to be vaccinated. I deplore the idea of mandates however I do think that since most of the medical community, including my own trusted doctor think it is a good idea, I think it is a good idea if your doctor recommends it. Fred says his doctor recommended that he not take it. Good on Troy to talk to a doctor about it. Follow your doctor's advice. If you are old enough to play on this site you should have a doctor. If you don't have one, then get one. Talk to him/her about it and what is best for you.

I know 20 or so that have had covid, no hospitilizations most are ready to return to normal life in 3 or 4 days. Worst one I know of was down for 7 days. 99.99% survival rate for those of us under 50 and there are a bunch under 50 with comorbidities that skew that number.

Know of 2 people under 40 that left behind wifes or husbands in the past 2 weeks. Recently vaccinated, suspected blood clots. Loved ones just find them unexpectedly dead with no trauma

I like the way my wife’s doc told her when she asked. He said he couldn’t tell her either way because he didn’t know and it would be a decision she needed to make and that she probably knew as much about it as him.

The one thing you never want to hear from a doctor is “I dont know” That Doctor is a medically trained professional, this is in his wheelhouse, he either doesnt want to enter the raging covid debate or he has had his head under a rock. Either way, you might want to get your wife to a doctor who’s head is in the game. Virtually every doctor has an opinion on this crap.

Medical doctors are like any other professional, some finished at the top of their class and some got by by the skin of their teeth. I don’t know who or what to believe, however, I do know that I had an elderly family member pass away and the cause of death was labeled “COVID” and there was someone in the community who passed away from a blood clot very shortly after getting vaxxed.

I’m not taking a “vaccine” that might kill me, especially when I’ve already had COVID and it didn’t really affect me all that much.

Bout my exact thoughts as well. I’ve had the virus, got over it, and figure why risk the jab when my body handled the virus on its own. I’ve seen too many people in my age range that got the shot and had side effects that rivaled actually getting the virus.

And respectfully sir my experience was exactly the opposite. Had the virus, got a shot, and had no problems whatsoever. The indiscriminate and real aspect of death is the choice we are dealing with. There are no safe choices and anything you may base an expert/professional opinion on is easily and validly contradicted by other professionals and experts in the field. All we know is that this disease was man made, released, and is killing people. The unvaccinated are dying, the vaccinated are dying, and heathy people are dying from becoming vaccinated.

Can’t disagree with ya on that assessment roadkill. That next to last sentence is an irrefutable fact, and the fact we as a nation have not placed heavy sanctions on China and have not seriously looked into those responsible for funding the research is troubling.
