Like others have said, drop the weight for higher velocity. I noticed better performance dropping from 150 grainers. Yep, that's the load for a .308 . My son and I both shoot the 130s in 308. Blood trails a plenty , but that really doesn't matter when they're DRT or never make it out of sight. Yeah for sure. Most of the blood trail comes from dragging them out, 9 times out of 10 it’s a bang/flop kind of deal.
