The answer (and this goes for raisins, too, which are just dried grapes) is easy: No, dogs should never eat grapes. Grapes and raisins are known to be highly toxic to dogs, though research has yet to pinpoint exactly which substance in the fruit causes this reaction.

My cat eats my grape stems. Every time i get grapes out of the fridge, here he comes. Its like hes got a sixth sense. He loves grape stems. He doesnt care for the grapes, just the stems

three years ago my then 12 year old Catahoula came to the door with a 12 inch cut down her shoulder, BIG flap of skin hanging. 10pm at night. I called my vet and we decided I would sedate her and staple the cut up and take her to the vet in the morning to be sewn up properly. We talked over sedation drugs and dosage. I drew up the reversal first(damn good thing) and the sedation drug. I injected her and in 5 seconds she quit breathing. DAMN!!!! I gave her the reversal and wife and step daughter started emergency rescue breathing for her. Took about ten minutes for her to regain breathing on her own. Talk about feeling like a dumbass. Got her properly sewn up next morning with a different sedation drug.
I hope yer cat gets better fast.
I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....
