Here’s one that stuck its foot in the wrong place.

Had one a few years back I saw a couple times during bow season. It was solid black with a white chest patch. Never got a chance to kill it.

Never seen one myself, but then again I can count on one hand the number of coyotes I’ve seen on my place. I know they are there from tracks, but we just don’t see them in the day time.

I have seen a dead one a guy killed on a lease next to where I grew up and I seen another one in person on that same lease I was not able to get a shot on. This was nearly 20 years ago.

I got one at my place I have been trying to put a dent in his ass for two years. He always presents himself at the worst of times or in a position that I can get a shot. I will get him eventually.

That first one looks like an off color husky, I've never seen one light like that. They're smart creatures!

I've killed 2 and both had whit patches on their chest. I've seen a couple of others and they had the white patch. I would imagine they had some yard dog mixed in.

I was hoping you'd see this post and comment. I assume the black hair is a trait passed down from parent(s)?

Simple recessive inherited trait, yes.

Seen one that had pinto or like palomino patches all over it. Kinda cool. Dogs were running it oddly enough.
