Several weeks ago my chiropractor recommended a CBD product to me to help deal with pain so my wife goes to this store and buys a chocolate bar and some nilla wafer looking cookies
She gets home with this stuff and i said you bought junk food for pain !!!
I reluctantly broke in half one of the cookies to try it and laid down to rest for a couple hours
We got up to go get something to eat and i notice i was hungrier than usual so i grabbed a quick snack before we left
I was driving and noticed i didnt feel right as in I had no pain but something else was off
We get to the restaurant and when i step out of the truck my knees buckle and I'm higher than a kite
This stuff took me through the munchies and then to everything being funny to being paranoid
Havent experienced that since i was a kid

I went back to my chiropractor and told him my experience and he got a good laugh then proceeded to tell me about his MIL (75 YEARS OLD)
Said she was over for the weekend and it was time for her to leave so she went to the kitchen and saw the chocolate bar in the fridge and ate half of it thinking it was a generic candy
She left a hour or so later and in another hour she called being very confused and lost
She was talking out of her head and they got her to describe the area she was in and they recognized where she was
They directed her to a Dollar General just down the street and had her to park there
They finally get there and she is parked across drive going into the DG blocking entrance and exit to the store
He said at first they thought she had a stroke but the physical symptoms werent there and it took them a while through conversation with her to figure out what granny did

Wooeeee!!

Good thing you went at your hunting spot and had to walk back!!

I’m not sure you get a high off of CDB products because they don’t contain the THC from the marijuana. Perhaps the wife made of bought you some of the edibles made with the real stuff.

Come on over and I’ll let you try half a cookie and see for yourself

Delta 8 is probably what it was not CBD. Post a pic of the product

I bet it had delta 8 thc in it , Close to the same thing as delta-9 thc. The active ingredient in bud that gets you high. Look on the package good and see.

Actually you can now buy Delta 9 legally on line. The had to make the gummy bigger to geta little more thc in in it.

Probably contains very little if any CBD. I would question my chiropractor if he recommended it and didn't provide you the right info. Delta 8 will get you high. It depends on the person. Some people can't handle it.

I was absolutely wrong too
It definitely relieves pain quickly and the dose I took was way too much which is my fault for not believing it’d work
I haven’t had any more of that stuff and still have what the wife bought just in case my pain get overwhelming as it was when I tried the cookie
Having that feeling of being out of control that being high or drunk gives has never been my thing but I will say I’d choose this stuff over prescribed meds any day
Thankfully I have a high tolerance for pain and can deal with it most all the time without taking anything OTC or prescribed

This right here is what might get the s**t slapped out of a doctor. What if you had decided to go for a drive or go hunting in a climber. Could have got you killed. I dont think thats funny at all

The delta 8 pen is the way to go. More controllable. Or so I’ve heard.

I must have missed the part where your doctor told you it was gona get you high as he**. Im sorry. If he didnt go over with you what the effects would be, he deserved 5o be struck and he could have got you and somebody else killed. The whole point of your story being how you were surprised how high you got off the stuff, i was just assuming he didnt tell you. If thats the case, he was wrong for doing that. If he did tell you, that might be important to the story.
