I am having good luck (3 years so far) out of the Moultrie Pro Hunter models. (6 volt) I have one of the AA models and it doesn’t feed well and eats batteries. I will be changing it to one of the pro models soon.
I have had the best luck with these, I have 3 running for years now and they are reliable, and Carnot proof.

I go with the 4 aa all in one moultries. $2 worth of batteries last all season. Only problem I've had is a couple of them have had led display go out after a couple of years We use these also on metal barrels with varmit cages.
If you're gonna be stupid you better be tough.

I love the Moultrie AA feeders. I have better luck with battery life than the 6v, plus I can get AA batteries anywhere. I also prefer the small sling radius. Any of mine that die get replaced with a AA head. I'm sure some of those that are exponentially more expensive are better but I'm fine with the Moultrie feeders. Generally speaking, the feeders are one thing Moultrie still does well. The AA setups are nice.

The AA feeders wouldn't be so bad if you didn't have to lay on the ground under the damn thing to change the batteries or adjust the clock/feed times.

I run the Moultrie Pro Magnum Feeder Kit on 5 different spin feeders. https://www.moultriefeeders.com/pro-magnum-feeder-kit-6-voltThese use two 6 volt batteries and a set of batteries will last right at a year. They have a lifetime warranty on them. If it goes out just send it back to Moultrie and they will replace it. I have an extra one so that if I have one go out I can swap it out and my feeder is not down while the motor is sent in. I have had only one to fail in the last several years of using them. I have them on 30 gallon drums, holds 200 lb. of corn, set to run 12 seconds twice per day, and it will go 30 days between fill-ups. They do a great job for me.

I have been using Academy's Game Winner Feeders and have had zero problems. I have those stand and fill types "No Hassle". They make them in a 720 and 320 pound version on black pipe legs.
Best feeders I have ever owned but a bit pricey. No way I would go with anything I couldn't stand on the ground and fill after owning these.
The also make an "Easy Fill" that looks near the same but has angle iron legs. No experience with those but priced a little less.
Would I buy a tripod feeder.... No way.

We switched to the All Seasons Evolution 12volt units with the solar panels on all of ours and haven't had any trouble like all the others we've had. "The Timer" that comes with them is awesome. Just don't look towards them when you spin check them! LOL Those are good feeders. We went with the Bushlan 600# feeders 5 years ago and still haven’t changed batteries. You ain’t kidding about covering your eyes when you hit test. ![[Linked Image]](https://i.postimg.cc/Dw7487yR/8-FC06706-2005-44-D8-BDDB-77-D8-A447284-D.png)
