Calling them horns is especially irritating to me because they’re 2 biologically different things. Antlers are shed and regrown regularly. Horns are not. Animals in the deer family have antlers. Things like sheep, goats and cows have horns....oh, and the Yak woman at the Carnival where cousin Eddie’s oldest son works... I think saying horns just sounds better. Saying antlers is like saying Hollow instead of Holler. "All I saw was big ol' horns runnin' down the holler!" or "I saw a large ungulate with antlers moving hastily in the hollow." The first response just seems right
