Are the deer stampeding now that we have cold weather?
All we've heard for three months is that it's too hot, weather sucks, heat, deer not moving because it's hot and how "cold weather" will get them moving.
They should be running around with their tongues hanging out by now. How many y'all seen already?

I saw the biggest scoring deer of the year I've seen while hunting. They definitely moved better than they had been the last couple weeks. Its gonna have to be a giant for me to shoot one.
We will burn that bridge when we get there

Not sure if it’s the weather or the deer just aren’t used to me being here on a Monday but I’ve definitely seen more action today than I have on recent weekends. Regardless I enjoy hunting more when it is cold than in the weather we have had lately. Haven’t got the first mosquito bite today.
Workin for the man, huntin when I can.

For the last two weeks we have averaged 1265 deer per day being reported......During the last 24 hrs there has been 1713 deer reported for a 27% increase associated with the passing weather front. It could be more deer moving or more people in the woods.

Where do you get the reports cameras, phone calls, taxidermist, game wardens, people have a # to report sittings. Water fowl reports are done mostly by fly overs the main river channels.

Heck no they dont like freezing cold in Bama. Tomorrow when it gets back to average temps with so.e sun should ve excellent! Lol I'm with u...i reckon places are different and I've had people telling me all day I needed to be hunting but I bet I see deer tomorrow in pastures that I didn't today...I'm really just holding back for the rut activity, I've almost went to much thus far in good areas

This one ought to be a slam dunk - Darrel Dawkins style - yea - just look at the kill thread on cold days - I hav talked to diff processor in cold days - both said getting most deer on cold days and not even a close race
With that said - biggest buck I ever kill was in 77 degree weather - but it was the heart of the rut
Thinking back over the years - colder days always been better for me - hot days generally slower
I saw 16 doe - 3 bucks - 1 an 8 yesterday evening in the cold - just saw 12 doe and good buck this evening - shot the 8 - very cold - was a wrap around waiting line at processor- ain’t seen that all year - of course it was in 30s at last light
Hunted 4 straight days in muzzleloader- first day only semi cool day - over 10 does - small bucks and a decent 6 - rest of the week hot - few does each day
Think cold weather and deer movement was proved back in caveman days
Walking off w rim in my hand 🤣
Hunt the wind - leave it better than you found it - love your neighbor as you love your self We need prayer for our country now more than ever
