Well, had planned to hunt all week last week. Went to our camp on Monday and honestly didn't even hunt but an hour Tuesday afternoon it was so hot. Saw a couple of bucks at night but nothing else. Didn't hunt the rest of the week due to weather (rain in north bama and too hot in south). My brother then goes to our camp yesterday am and said the woods came alive after the cold front. He almost got a shot at a nice big 8 in the swamp while watching turkeys and hearing hogs. I got everything ready for my last hunting trip of the season with friends down at our camp next Wednesday through Sunday. I will be hunting hard to contribute as this may be the first year I haven't killed a nice buck/deer in years. Maybe I can score for us.
