This or go in a good hour before dark and use a green or red light and be stealthy as possible. Of course either option assumes wind is in your favor.
Next year I would look at planting sone Egyptian Wheat as a screen to further simplify the problem. A good screen will allow you to slip in almost undetected. A little noise an hour before dark might spook them a little but in my experience they won’t go far at all and will filter back in.
Why would you use the light in the daylight? Does it confuse them or something? It’s like ozonics, but with light.

If that’s the case I’m going to start using a red and green light at the same time. You need to get a patent on that setup. Give it a catchy name, like RAGE light or something. Waddell will be talking about it on his show next fall.

Go in just after daylight so you can see if a buck is in there. This is what I would do. Go in the daylight when I can see from afar what is there and go very, very slow. Might shoot one without having to get into the house. Thats what Id do Josh. Sneak in with NO light or a red light if I needed one cupped to hide the glow. And thats exactly what Im doing for next year on the house I mentioned. We left the sage and weeds in a strip but as the weather came they got pushed down. Mixing eygptian wheat with milo and planting a screening strip this spring

If I use a red and green light, Mr. Green Jeans may think I’m a boat and write me a ticket for not having a life vest or a whistle.
