Any updates on the young man? From what I heard last night is that he made it through surgery ok. They removed parts of his small intestine and colon. He also has damage to his stomach and his kidneys. He is in critical condition, but is stable. He will have to have another surgery today, and one Monday as well. I believe his on the vent and will continue to be through these next surgeries. Thankful to hear he is still hanging in there. Prayers for all involved.
All the labor of man is for his mouth, and yet the appetite is not filled.

I’m taking that as good news given how bad it could’ve been and the risks that are still ahead. I hate that for him and his family. I hate it for the hunter that accidentally discharged his gun. I’m sure there’s a lot of guilt he carrying around right now.

That's very good news. Thanks for updating.
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

Prayers for him. Don't think that I and every other father that have turned a son, or daughter, loose to go hunting on their own haven't feared something like this. All we can do is teach them the best we can not only by words but by example and then pray the lessons have taken hold in their brains.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Just read that they got him up and walked a couple times today.
