Decided it would be better to get off the island before the bad weather came. Almost got sunk in the canoe trying to cross the pass in a 15mph wind today so I’m glad we didn’t wait for the 30mph winds they were forecasting for tomorrow. Man it felt good to take a shower for the first time since Tuesday night lol, my wife almost kicked me right back out of the house when I walked in. But we planned next years trip on the way home and I can’t wait to get back, that island is a special place and I’m hoping to keep our yearly hunt there a tradition for many more years.
