Good eats is pretty slim in Scottsboro, as far as entertainment , we have Unclaimed Baggage and the Scottsboro Boys Museum , slim pickins in the Boro.

As far as Bars go in Scottsboro, you’ve got “Scooters” it’ll have a good mix of bikers and rednecked hillbillies. I haven’t stepped foot into that building in 15 years so I can’t really speak to it. Us sophisticated people would probably opt for “The Docks” at Goosepond on a Friday Or Saturday night if they have a musician cued up or the bar area of “Buenavista” Mexican Restaurant. Otherwise, from Scottsboro, Take 72 towards Huntsville and spend the evening in Huntsville
The fool tells me his reasons; the wise man persuades me with my own.

Skip all that and head over to Roxy's nightclub in Tuscaloosa. It's a really happening place.

We have been to Nashville.. it's expensive. We also go to Birmingham and Mobile frequently. Mobile is our favorite place to go bar hopping. Generally we like to stay away from tourist type places and find some hidden gems.
We have some of the best times in shady bars that are packed by locals... not in tourist type places. If someone said their is an awesome bar in Rainbow City and you can stay at the La Quinta... will go check it out.
If you find one in Gadsden; it will be hidden. Don't know about the "gem" part

I have just the place for you but it’s northwest of B’ham. Go stay at the Warrior River Motel and hit up Wesley’s Boobie Trap. The next morning you can go catch trout in the tail race below Smith Dam while replaying the events of the previous night over and over again.
You're only as good as your worst shot-

There is not an awesome bar in Rainbow City, I live there, LOL. Lucy's is still there and Chestnut too. Have not been in years. There is one in Glencoe called Three Guy's Tavern. I know the owners and they good folks. Depends on who is playing whether there will be a crowd or not. If Tony Irby is playing, there should be a crowd. WORD OF CAUTION. Uber to hotel. Glencoe police are hell. Take her to El tapitio , get full of alcohol and head over to the Gentleman’s club in Gadsden . Fine lil establishment. You mean Upper Attalla Hardy's? I will check these out. My wife does not like to sit around and watch a band... she wants to be up on the dance floor. Which is fine with me... I don't care. Upper Attalla Hardy's is a Gentleman's club.. I guess? Yes, just another location of Bill's Lounge, LOL.
