I'd like just one of those democeraptic pieces of shitt to explain to me how they come up with 6%, everything out there is up 20-200%. Another damn democrap lie.

Im sure the gly price increase has to do with health/environmental bs. If you think food is high now, wait a year. Our peaches just went up $3/basket from whàt i saw on this trip to the coop. That will just cover the increase in expenses. We are one of the çheapest around. $3 in a year is a big deal for us and our customers. Theres gona be some folks really hurting by this time next year

I'm not looking forward to seeing what fertilizer prices will be come April when the ground dries out enough to spread it. My place will not get any this year if it's as high as I've heard it is already. $1100 a ton what I heard but I ain’t bought any…. Got chicken litter over this way and it better be higher this year or I guess I’ll keep mine

Not exactly on topic but JW, do you sell your peaches at your house or the farmers market?
I’m a sucker for a home grown peach Mostly here. We deliver to our wholesale customers. We do not go to markets

If they are reporting inflation at 6%, why is the average cost of goods increase at 25%?
I don’t think it’s price gouging in every case. I think producers and outsourcers are jacking up prices to get higher margins than they had when Biden was elected. This way they can show revenue growth and help him try to push the narrative that his economy is working. That’s some dumbass reasoning. If raw materials cost 6% more from a set point, that means at a minimum your sales tax is more. Profit is at the end of the line. The date you sign a contract is what kills you with inflation. If you lose 10,000 on materials for a contract you signed 3 months ago, you gotta make it back somehow.
