Welcome aboard!

LFTT usually means Live From The Tree. During turkey season in that forum you will see LFTW which usually means Live From The Woods or Live From Turkey Woods.

I haven’t seen a buck in so long I had to put a pic of one in my shirt pocket so I could positively ID one when it does walk out.

Well boys paw n law finally connected on a big ole fat doe against my better judgement on him shooting a doe but any way whatever. Me and the dog had to work a lil bit to get it. We work on shot placement come spring

As long as he is happy, I’d call it a win

Most mature deer just like waiting 15 mins after dark to move...sure they get anxious every once in a while n then get killed or during rut...I've got one day pic of my number 1 deer but pics every other night before 7pm

Big Bucks do not play JB for sure. You just have to be out there the few times they do slip up and be lucky once. Good luck catching him half stepping. thumbup

I saw 11 does and 4 young bucks. Chasing too. And one young doe coming into heat and running laps not knowing what was going on. It always seems to freak them out the first time they go in heat. Ended up getting a spike and a young 6 on her.

One older doe was coming in to heat too and she had two different young bucks chasing her half an hour before dark. Biggest was a 3 yr old 8 I see a lot. he needs to smarten up as he is past his ears, just spindly. Someone will shoot him if they see him .

Second rut started here on 1/24 and was wide open the first few days. I love the second rut. It is when I catch those big ones tired, worn down and making mistakes

I always see the biggest after the 1st rut...usually from the road but still...even on cam, big ones I've never seen come thru searching for left overs

Saw 4 this morning, two does, a 4pt and a 7pt. The 7pt wasn’t so lucky this afternoon, shot him at 3:15.
