deadeye OP 14 point D Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 7,947 Monroe County, AL	Did this to all my gas and diesel cans except I pulled my valve stems thru with pliers - just dont booger up the threads - grab the rubber part and use stems about 1 1/2 inches long so you have something to grab.. odocoileus 14 point Joined: Oct 2008 Posts: 7,077 Selma	I've done the valve stem trick. It lasted about 6 months before the fuel rotted the rubber and it fell out. I tossed it and bought some VP racing fuel jugs.
