The water being down doesn’t hurt the fishing at all. This time of year I fish a shaken head, jig, swim bait and crank bait on north and south end. The south end tends to be clearer water and at times you can see 8’ deep or more. Fish everything from points, humps and docks. The lake is loaded with small fish. Catching a three pounder is difficult unless the water temp gets right for them to move shallow. Catching fish won’t be a problem. Catching 15lbs will be.

Bass Nation is there this weekend. Should be a hundred boats or more.

Small hair jig on points. Just let it sink. Retrieve and repeat

7 is a big fish for Martin Huge! Bigger than anything I've caught out of Martin. Congrats to him! I caught a 7# large head on a three seater wave runner when I was around 12. Didn’t have digital scales but the regular Old ones were over 7. My dad caught a 8.6 late 90s after the tornado came through madwind point area. That was after he left it in the live well for 2-3 days. Couldn’t decide to mount her or not.
