8 or 9 - my uncle had an Ford straight-6 300 pickup with an automatic - he would let me drive the fields while he dropped the square hay bails . I don't know if I would classify that as driving - it was more letting the truck do the work while I pressed the gas or the brake when he tapped on the bed and sawed at the wheel.
I know at 10 I could drive anything - stick, automatic, tractors...etc. Also at 14, I got my driver's permit and would hot lap another uncle's stock car at the some of the local dirt tracks.
