The more reasonable question is:
If our WMAs are not seeing the hunting pressure they are capable of handling, why did you and your little group feel a need to restrict hunting on them?
You say it's not for qdm. So what is the purpose, and where did the idea originate? 49er I live right next to Boykin Management area and I can asure you that the state has no idea how many deer are killed nor the amount of pressure it has on it. It has alot of pressure and alot more deer are killed than ever reported.
