In all seriousness that was probably Putin’s plan — but he did not count on such a push back from the Western forces nor did he expect such widespread public dissemination of intelligence information and satellite photos of all his troop concentrations and movements. He thought he was going to have an unopposed cake walk because of Dementia Joe being weak, stupid and non compos mentis. But the UK and European forces stepped up and plugged the gap of absent American leadership.
