Probably the best thing about buying from them is their wanting you to be happy with the chokes performance. I have about 7 chokes of different males (collected over time). Williams (Sumtoy) produced the most even patterns and best cores. I’m talking solid hunting patterns, which is what I told them I was looking to get. Just looking at the internals, each choke has a lot of design and machining. Worth the cost for sure and I think you’ll be absolutely satisfied.

Great chokes and a great guy to deal with. He wants his customers to be happy with his product. That's been my experience with him.

Back before commercial TSS, he basically bashed the TSS handloaders. He went on the boycott list for me at that point

I had a long conversation with him. What I got was he's not against it, it's how some use it. He don't like the guy that want's him to make him a choke for a 20 that puts 400 in the 10 at 40 yards and then goes out and shoots turkeys 60, 70 yards and beyond. That was my takeaway. BTW, I didn't buy a choke from him, didn't need it.

I feel the same way as Crenshaw. That’s just him crawfishing. He was very strait forward about it until he realized it was going to be a major part of his business.

I would rather do business with Indian creek if possible or jebs. They have both offered to go beyond normal circumstances to help customers(me) before.

Do you want to hear him gobble, or do you want to kill him.

I’m not a fan at all. Have never gotten a choke from him that would do what I wanted. Tried 3 different times (IE 3 different guns worth of sending chokes back and still not getting what I wanted). On my little customized .410, he did all the work including cutting and threading the barrel, providing a mount for a reflex sight, and building a choke. The tap in the end of the barrel isnt deep enough for the choke to bottom out and it sticks out 1/16” too far, the choke patterns SUCKED, and the mount makes zero contact with the barrel on my Savage 301 so I had to bed it in order to trust it. He made excuses on all 3 of those. He will never get another red cent from me.

Got them in 20 and 12 both turkey and buckshot chokes. Pleased with performance. Have Indian creek stuff too. Happy with them as well. Not so much on my Jebs

Correct. He was in CYA mode for a while after that all went down and TSS continued to gain steam.

IC is all I plan on using. I had a finicky 870 that I was having trouble getting desired patterns out of. IC swapped me out chokes twice and ended up running a custom constriction they don't even offer. It got me the patterns I needed and I've been shooting it ever since.

and Crenshawco you had to get IC to make you a custom choke before it worked? My first Sumtoy worked for me..
