I am thinking about getting a new deer rifle. What is the best caliber to get? 223? 243? 308? 300? or 30-06? I forgot what about 7mm-08?

Everytime I order Chinese food whether eat in or take out I never see Chinese people eating there. That should tell you something. You never see dogs or cats near a chinese restaurant either.

It always rains at the end of a long dry spell.

Went scouting for elk today. All of the logging road gates are closed, it's feet or bike only. After riding/walking to the highest peak in the area I headed down. While traveling about 35mph down hill I thought "man it would suck to go over the bars". In less than 2 seconds from thinking that, sudden stoppage of the front wheel and my a$$ flew through the air about 6 or 8 feet. When the fall was over, I saw the bike flying through the air about 10 more feet into the ditch. Got up, checked myself, and caught my breath. My ear felt detached but it wasn't. My hand, back, shoulder, and elbow are torn up from the large rocks the roads are made of and, my ear is purple. Still had about 3 miles of torture to ride out. Called the wife, came home to laughing wife, son, and daughter. It crappin hurt when I hit the shower.
