Way to go Mobile, y’all’s DA representative Carl voted for gun control today in the US House

What are you referring to?

Well Shelby and Tubby both voted for it in the Senate. Just embarrasing.

Yeah.

Yep. The "red flaggish" stuff is what I don't like and the ease at which is was added into the bill and approved. I cant help but see it as gun/people control instead of the other way around, I wish they would have left well enough alone

I’m curious how obscene language or a gesture can be disorderly conduct? I thought the SC had ruled in that in the past? I’m sure it has to do with how it is being used, but I can see that being abused to drum up a charge?

It's going to depend on the circumstances and the judge honestly. How public was it, who was around, did it actually cause alarm to the public, etc., etc. I think you get the point.

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

I was charged with cussing out a cop one time along with a few other things . The cussing out part was thrown out . Officer cannt charge you for using obscene lauguage. .

Other stuff was thrown out under appeal. Under cover cop got to I'd him self . Lol

A private citizens can sign a warrant against you for that though

Who says they can’t charge you? The language in the law is clear as day. Whether or not a judge wants to uphold it based on the circumstances is the question.

Yeah , I guess they can charge what ever . But in my case me cussing in front of them , at them was thrown out. Judge plainly stated they could not do that . At the time

Police is not considered, the public

Although I don’t agree with dog cussing someone what happened to free speech and saying whatever you want…as long as you’re not threatening anyone

In reading the court rulings, I think it all has to do with intent. If you are using vulgar language as part of your normal vocabulary, it doesn’t look like that is a chargeable offense. But, if you are dog cussing someone out, it is taken as “fighting words” (the court’s language), and can be disorderly. I think it all has to do with your intent.

Switchblade isnt illegal as long as its not fully concealed

switchblades were legal , Bowie knives , machetes couldn't be concealed
