If tiger stays healthy he will be in contention on Sunday. He knows that course better than anyone, if he stays out of trouble off the tee watch out

25th anniversary of 1997. You don't think he's Gona be amped up your crazy. Supposedly during his practice round yesterday he was keeping up with JT off the tee and his short game was still there. I wouldn't put it past the GOAT to make a run

No idea who might win. We'll find out Sunday about 5 p.m. Hopefully the weather won't be too crappy over there but if it's terrible on Wednesday they could be slinging darts Thursday, even with the uber-drying systems in the greens.

I'm glad to see Woods over there. For all his faults in the personal-moral world, to return after that kind of traumatic leg injury and damage just 14 months ago is remarkable.

What an idiot.

I've read a couple of articles that Phil may be suspended because of his comments on the Saudi League. May be one of those "You're suspended, but we'll let you say you're not playing to keep the suspension under wraps" type of deals.

I've been told that it was a "mutually agreed period of time off" between Phil and the Tour.

However, the Masters is not a Tour tournament. It has nothing to do with the Tour other than inviting the players. ANGC can invite whoever it wants including any player suspended or disciplined by the Tour, if it wants to do so.

Most likely, though, the ANGC membership would not want Mickelson there for two reasons: he sullied his name and the game dealing with the Bonesaw Saudi Golf Tour and thus would be a blot on their week, and the media scurry would be uncouth to the ANGC membership. It's their party. They don't want a clod of poo in the pimento cheese this week.

I’m not a Tiger fan at all. I couldn’t care less he is there. I would choose, and have chosen, to go turkey hunting over going to The Master’s. I like keeping up with it though. Justin Thomas would be a great addition to the green jacket club. Decham-Excuse-Maker is not a favorite of mine. I wouldn’t mind Koopka(sp) winning it. Give me a turkey thundering over a roar at The Masters any spring day!

Tigers 46. How fitting would it be for him to tie Jack for Masters title winning one at 46, the same age Jack won his last

Love the Masters. Really enjoy the practice rounds in
person, but, have to watch the tournament on the boob
tube. And it is one of the most beautiful places on this
planet.

The food is another interesting thing about the masters. It’s cheap and delicious. The best items are the pimento cheese sandwiches washed down with a fresh made Arnold Palmer followed up by their famous ice cream sandwiches (2 sugar cookies with peach ice cream inside). I ate that meal in the shade of a pine at Amen corner when Phil and Rory came through. I will never forget that moment.

I heard yesterday no ice cream sandwiches this year. They apparently had sourcing issues from their supplier out of Nashville.

That's true. No peach ice cream sandwiches this year due to sourcing. ANGC is picky about their products and sources.

I'm not a fan of pimento cheese. I think it's disgusting. One of the few things I don't eat. But when I was there 10 years ago, I ate a couple of them. Actually, we ate like pigs because it was and still is inexpensive. All pretty tasty, too.

They raised their prices to $3 this year for sandwiches, up from $2.50, although the P-cheese still is just $1.50. Beers are now $5 instead of $4.

IMO they're smart to not have stupid prices like at the PGA events or Tour Championship in Atlanta, or WGCs. One beer at the Tour Championship is $9 and a plain hotdog is I think $6 or $7. Two brews, chips and hotdogs for my son and me costs more than $30. That's f'king ridiculous. If they were less, we'd buy more.

ANGC doesn't need the money from a $9 beer or $7 sandwich. They don't need the money at all, to be honest. But with their modest prices and the food is tasty, they sell more of them. Low prices = volumne.

I also like the fact if anyone is acting like an asshole or is running, they ask you to stop or leave. You're a guest at their event.

I also love that if you have your phone out taking pics, you'll be escorted out. Nothing worse than watching someone line up a big put and see hundreds of people holding their phones up to video

They literally will not allow your phone in. Which is great. You have to go back to your car and stash it.
