Foo Fighters in Memphis. Twice....(2015 - Broken Leg Tour and 2018 - Concrete & Gold tour). My mom was my date to both bc she’s a big Foo fan too. She said the first time, I looked like those girls from the old Beatles concerts

U2 at Vandy. We’ve seen them numerous times but that was the best
Metallica in Memphis would be the best heavy metal
Eagles in a Memphis unplugged was dang good too Did Bono give a guitar to a guy at the end of the show? If so…I was there! Great show and I’m not a huge U2 fan.

What's weird as I read these posts is that I was at a lot of the concerts listed.
Saw Van Halen at the BJCC back in 1985. Me and 10 other guys from Delta Chi at what was then Livingston University went in my van. Miracle we survived.
Saw Aerosmith at the BJCC
Saw AC/DC at the Gulf Coast Colosseum in Mississippi and was in the 4th row from the stage. They rolled cannons out on the stage and fired them during "For Those About to Rock" My ears rang and chest hurt for 2 days.
Saw Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers at Oak Mt.
I was at the Ozzy Concert with Motley Crue as the opening band.
Took my wife to see the Bon Jovi concert on the beach down at Gulf Shores because she just LUUUVVVs him. LOL!
Saw Def Leppard at Oak Mt.
Saw Journey in 1983 at the Municipal Auditorium in Mobile. Bryan Adams opened for them. That was a good show. Why doesn't Mobile have major concerts anymore?

Aerosmith, VBC, 1976 Van Halen, VBC Diver Down, 1982 AC/DC, B'ham, 1988 U2, Cleveland 2017 and B'ham 1992 Stones, B'ham 1989 and Nashville (twice) Eagles, Hell Freezes Over Tour, Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe, 1994
Tina Turner put on a solid show at Auburn in 1985. Also enjoyed Stevie Nicks and Joe Walsh in Tuscaloosa in 1983.
Mellencamp at the Ryman a couple of years ago was fantastic.
My wife and I also have seen Yo-Yo Ma, Itzak Perlman and Renee Fleming. Each was incredible.

grand funk railroad at boutwell in early seventies. ears rang for 3 days after that one. Although I can't find any record of it on the interwebz, I saw Blackfoot, Molly Hatchet and I think .38 Special in Boutwell sometime in 1984 or 1985. We stood within an arm's length of the stage and speakers. I couldn't hear out of my left ear for three days and am sure I sustained permanent damage from that. Even at the back of the auditorium it was one of the loudest places I've ever heard a show.
