Worst? Guns and Roses. Axl Rose is a horrible performer.

Yeah Guns and Roses were just unreliable as hell. They might put on a great show one night; or show up so wasted they could hardly stand the next night; or get pissed and walk off the stage half way through a show; or not even show up for the next concert.

Saw them when they were unknown and opening for the Crue. Appetite hadn’t been out long at all.

Best opening act ever, bar none.

About 6 months later a good friend and his girlfriend paid scalper prices, like 200 a ticket to see them in Tuscaloosa I think it was. They left early it was so bad.

I watched some special on axle not long ago. I kept flipping channels when it would come on because I couldn’t stand his ego. Finally watched it and it was a really good documentary and explained a lot of his problems and made sense. He suffers from panic attacks and stage fright. Concert promoter talked about the time he sent LAPD to arrest him at his home and bring him to the show.

Still don’t care for his ego but at least there eases insight into his problems.
