Wife wrote a check yesterday that broke my heart. This check was in addition to what has already been withheld from my job. I was wanting a new Ranger-not going to happen this year. It is a crying shame how we are being ripped apart because we work and are successful. Hard work dont make it anymore. Looks like I need more payments in cash to keep me going.
I can't stand a thief.

I pay for some of my hunting and fishing expenses each year by selling stuff on ebay. I just got a notice from them that the IRS will be taxing every penny of it as income from now on. That is in addition to the 13% that ebay already takes. This was one of the new taxes the Democrats came up with. All the stuff I sell is stuff I bought and paid sales tax on already. Not worth using ebay anymore. The Democrats would take 100% if they could find a way. Thats because so many people sell stuff on there as a job.

They set it at $600.00. And if they are going to tax it as income, then you should be able to deduct what you purchased the item for from your taxable income. All items I sell are a net loss for me.

I was shocked that ours wasn't as bad as I feared. One thing about it though is that this is the time of year for rejoicing for me because I hear the politicians say all the time that only the rich are going to have taxes raised but this is the time I rejoice in learning how rich I am, at least according to the gov't. (sarcasm button off)
I am wealthy, but not in monetary ways and I was surprised when I learned how much we ended up paying. It was far less than I thought it would be. Thank goodness for people that work in accounting and know what they are doing.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Ive been blessed by the Lord and business has been good and I paid in enough this year, that I could take just some of what I paid in, in cash, and go buy myself a new loaded out, 4x4, F150 King Ranch. I'm still wondering, for me giving that much money to the govt, what exactly has the govt done that benefits me to the same extent? I didnt qualify for any of the Covid free money or economic stimulus, so govt didnt help me there. Govt regs certainly didnt help by business any. Paying more for fuel than ever before. Same with utilities. Same with food. Somehow, I just do not feel that I got my money's worth in 2021 or in previous years for that matter. The more you make, the more they take. Meanwhile, I see an article last week, that 58% of the US population didnt pay anything in federal income tax in 2020. Something is bad wrong with the system. Everyone, every single person living in the US, should have to pay in something. I'm all for a sales tax or flat tax and abolishing the federal income tax entirely. That way, everyone contributes based on their consumption. We got people getting $60K-$80K in govt benefits ( enhanced unemployment, free housing, rent and utility assistance, food stamps, EBT cards, WIC, child tax credits, free phones, and on and on) that dont work a single day, pay a single penny in taxes, or contribute to society in any measurable way. We are swirling around in the toilet bowl boys. This robbing the "makers" and giving to the "takers" all to buy votes and power, is simply unsustainable. Another couple years and I might just decide to get in the truck, hook up the boat, fire alll my employees, shut my business down, take all my toys and go live at the camp, claim unemployment, early SS, and take advantage of all this free money and $60K plus a year free govt benefits, lose the massive tax bill, and just live, fish and hunt year round, on the govt dime. What if everyone decided the stress of making product, maintaining a payroll, employing people, providing benefits for those families, etc, just wasnt worth the headache any longer? Just my random thoughts on Friday Apr 15th. I'm out, gotta go fill out monthly sales and use tax returns for 3 companies and authorize them to draft my bank account for the payments on Monday the 18th. You honestly cannot do anything but laugh or cry. LOL.

I'd rather owe a little than get anything back. Screw giving the government an interest-free loan all year. Y'all think the government would give y'all an interest-free loan? Didn't think so. But I think fed income tax should be abolished and just tax product (usage). If you got money to play, get taxed for it. If you don't, don't get taxed. No need to punish the people that put in work so the freeloaders can walk.
There is 2 different high fence. 1 small and one big! Mine was free range in the big pen and was not a breeder buck. Why does it have to be twisted around??
