I don’t want to talk about it….they’re using crunchy peanut butter as lube. It hurts LOL, summed it up for me too!

There is 2 different high fence. 1 small and one big! Mine was free range in the big pen and was not a breeder buck. Why does it have to be twisted around??

I'm glad I looked at this thread... I did mine last night sort of in a rush knowing I had to get up at 0300 to make it to the hospital, then when I looked at this thread today when I got back from my surgery, I looked at my filings and realized I made a $5k mistake, but I had already electronically filed. I had somehow failed to input lines 2,3,4,5 & 6 from Mrs. Irish's W-2. Of course I couldn't get them back, so I had to wade through all the amended return crap when I should have been laying in the recliner eating bon bon's, but got it all done and instead of owing over $5k we now only owe $726, and getting $769 back from Aunt MeeMaw. So it's all a wash. You know I've been doing my own taxes for about 40+ years, but you can still make mistakes. Whew... That said, we did alright. If you divide our wages, salaries and tips (Line 1) into our Tax Liability we only ended up paying 15.25% federal taxes this year. I chalk that up to the hefty amounts that both of us are putting into our tax deferred 401k plans.

I've paid more than I did this year and I've paid less. It hurts every year thinking about what kind of vehicle or how much land I could have bought with that money. What hurts even more is knowing people that have never worked a day in their life and do nothing but pump out illegitimate little rug rats get 5 figure checks.
What you do today, you have to sleep with tonight.

My accountant was dragging it out. Had to file an extension but sold my stale ina business last year. It had done well, but the whole covid thing made me realize the power elite could strip everything, so I better divest.
Anyway, apparently my accountant didn't want me to see the number cause it's a damn kick in the nuts.

I pay for some of my hunting and fishing expenses each year by selling stuff on ebay. I just got a notice from them that the IRS will be taxing every penny of it as income from now on. That is in addition to the 13% that ebay already takes. This was one of the new taxes the Democrats came up with. All the stuff I sell is stuff I bought and paid sales tax on already. Not worth using ebay anymore. The Democrats would take 100% if they could find a way. Thats because so many people sell stuff on there as a job. Then they should have set a higher maximum allowed. They set it at $600.00. And if they are going to tax it as income, then you should be able to deduct what you purchased the item for from your taxable income. All items I sell are a net loss for me. Start an LLC. Claim EVERYTHING you buy except maybe food items. Show what you don’t sell on eBay as a loss. Criminal bastards. Every politician out there can choke on a chocolate ding dong.
This is Aldeer! The place people come to vent their frustrations and completely change their stance a few minutes later...

If tax day was October 31st, this counter would be in a lot better shape as we would be going to poles a week later and people Would care enough to elect conservative officials. You don’t think it’s an accident that election is as far away from tax day as it is? Do the math 4/15 to 11/8 almost exactly 6 months, figure in the government wanting it to be right after the first of the month when everyone gets they checks and you have the reason tax day and Election Day are whwre they are.

Capital Gains slapped me upside the head. I’ve put off writing the checks just about as long as I can. This part makes me nauseated. I don’t even know why I try anymore. The more I make by being smart the more I am penalized. I am almost ready to sell all of my property assets and just live the remainder of my life in my homestead and fish as much as I can.
