I have Gladiator with the 3.0 Ecodiesel. I’ve had it for a year. The bed is smaller than my Z71. But I wouldn’t trade it. It’s my daily driver.

A 4WD Jeep would be good in additional to a truck. However, I wouldn't give up a truck just to have a Jeep.

My best buddy has a rubricon Gladiator... it is little, but nice I guess. No way I could fit my 4-wheeler in the back. But, I guess we look cool driving around. Or maybe like a couple of gay guys trying to hard.

I’ve e had 5 Jeep’s currently have 2 Unlimited Jeep’s. One is and LJ(2 door) and one is a JKU which would be what you are talking about. How big a feller are you? They can be tight for bigger fellers. It ain’t a Honda. They ride well, do great off-road and would pull the boat fine. Wanna part with that LJ? Chiiit, he’d probably get rid of his ol’lady before he gets rid of that jewel. 😃 Rubicon package with all the goodies a growing boy needs. pretty sure I don’t want to get rid of either! Lol!! But the LJ is a 05 Rubicon 4.0 6 speed and if I have anything to do with it, neither are going anywhere!
I Well, the way I see it is there's just too many assholes On a good day there's a bunch of assholes in here. On a bad day there's too many assholes in here.

I had a 2005 TJ with the 4.0 in it, 6 speed manual transmission. Loved it, and the straight six 4.0 has a long throw crank which gives it a lot of torque. If I was to go buy another one, it would be 2006 or older. The thing was a beast at the hunting club, but with a family of 4 it was not roomy at all. I sold it with 97,000, for 10,500. I now own a F150 and haven’t looked back

I’ve been trying to talk my dad into selling me his 98 Sahara for years. Mint condition, hard top and roughly 110k miles.

I love my 1997 TJ, but as an around town, country road, forest service road, vehicle. Not as a daily driver. I might be fine with it as a daily once I retire, but right now I need a nice comfortable truck for my travel vehicle, which is what I have with my 2018 Ram Bighorn.
I may sell both of them soon and upgrade to a JK 2 door with the 3.6.
I really like the 3.6 Pentastar motor. I have it in my truck and I really like it. Nice power, very fuel efficient, and is a very reliable engine.

Always felt the same. After riding with a friend and hearing from others, there's no way I'll ever own a newer one. Maybe a CJ7 but that'd be a bit different.

New Jeeps are possibly the most unreliable vehicles being made today. They're awesome vehicles, but I'd go with a Toyota if I was to buy a new truck/suv. Actually the new jeeps are most reliable models ever made

You talking a 2 door? My first wifes best friends hubby had one of the 2 door ones, and it was the roughest riding thing I have ridden in, short of my driving my subcompact tractor thru a field I just subsoiled. Bingo. I would never have a Jeep as my daily driver.
