Did anyone notice Dave Owens wearing the prototype Mr. Fox vest in his picture he posted on Instagram Saturday. From my understanding MO made one prototype vest and they are passing it around to people in the industry for reviews and recommendations. I believe they are going to make a limited release of 1944 of them possibly before next season. It looks like a Dixon vest but a little updated and will be Bottomlands on the outside and Greenleaf on the inside. I am sure these will be preorder so if anyone learns of a preorder date please post because I certainly want to try and get one since it doesn't look like I will ever find a Dixon vest for a somewhat reasonable price.

That’s what I’ve heard too, I messaged some of the mossy oak boys about a preorder and no one will reply so who knows, I’d like to have one as well

I hunt in a Dixon and I am going to get one of the Mr. fox vests. Not sure if I’ll put up the Dixon but if I can I’ll have a fox vest.

I do think it’s foolish to only produce 1944 of them though. Although the quality of my Dixon is beyond any vest I have ever seen, I hope the fox vest is of a superior quality also.

I could be wrong here, but on their podcast I believe they said it would NOT be a limited run. So they would produce these like any other vest.

they look awesome but I'm sure they will be over priced and out of many folks budgets

I don't anticipate them to be cheap since Nomad vests are bringing $250 these days. It wouldn't surprise me if these bring $399-499 but I don't have a clue. Being I already pay $10-11/shell and gas is $3.50/gal I am not going to shy away from trying to get one because they are potentially considered "overpriced".

Does the number 1944 have some particular significance?
