A guy I worked with is one up in the Columbiana area. Good guy. Let me know if you need his name.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

I used one in mine. The guy moved, but they protected me the entire way and I learned alot. For instance, when you meet with them, they should give you directions, not an address. For two reasons. 1. Because you can say under oath you don't know the address, and 2. So they can't serve them a subpoena. So in my case, we countersued for adultery. She denied it and wanted "strict proof thereof". I never had possession of the PI report until after depositions. So since I didn't have it, and hadn't seen it, what could I answer that wasn't heresay? Mine listed their address as a PO Box.
They also told me they have to catch the spouse going into a residence, hotel, cabin, etc with a member of the opposite sex (although I guess it could be same sex now) that is not a blood relative, and spend at least an hour. They have to catch them twice, because the first time is an indiscretion. That's what I was told anyways.
And like Jmudler, it was worth every penny. All the pic's were of her looking dead at them!!

Also when they put internet "sniffers" and you find email addresses you knew nothing about. Just saying. That was a little before mine. I will say the second "visit" was for Valentines weekend, and her friend dropping her off with her valentines present was pure poetic from a picture standpoint. But then again, I walked in with the dudes name, address, DL, tag, SSN, etc. It was even more fun to produce documents we asked her for, and she "didn't have them". Like her grandfathers will. And property deeds. All showed lies, lies and more lies. Oh and her CC bills and our tax returns, you know, from the time "she paid off all my debt" LOL!! Uhm... ok. And all the cards where she said I was a great husband! I had 2 banker boxes of evidence, to her small stack of papers. I didn't even get deposed. The best part was my attorney blessing her out and reminding her that audultery is against the law in Alabama.

Stories? I think being a PI would be both interesting and depressing.

Stories? I think being a PI would be both interesting and depressing. My PI was an absolute jerk. Total penis head. That is why I hired him. On the video evidence he labeled the two participance with very colorful names. I was rolling.

Stories? I think being a PI would be both interesting and depressing. It is late nights and weekends for adultery more often then not. They really like to have a time/date stamped pic of them entering the shack up spot and leaveing. And you have to balance that with Karen's fussing about them being parked where they shouldn't be and calling the law.

One night in Volusia county the father in law caught a PI surveiling his daughter in law. Winchester 1300 shotgun muzzles appear larger in person than in print nobody died. But the local sheriff's deputies did take the PI in custody. Last I heard it was still wedded bliss.
Skinny is my EX.Alcohol was involved.

Stories? I think being a PI would be both interesting and depressing. A lot of boring from what I was told. I have friends, two of whom have passed away that were retired State investigators and did PI work. Then there is the one that I used to work with that is a retired investigator, Police Chief of Columbiana, a minister, and now a PI. To do it as a main source of income requires taking the boring stakeouts. I gave it consideration and would have good connections with the two retired State guys but they both passed away before I ever got around to it. I had all the application stuff printed off but never filled it out and sent them the $500 check to apply to take the test to be state licensed. One of our local attorneys also told me about the big need for quality investigators to work with defense teams throughout the State on Capital cases. Health issues made me decide I didn't want to pursue that line of work in the end.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.
