That’s because Mo doesn’t cater to as many special interest groups so no one is giving him money. The Rhinos are funding Britt

Katie has outspent Mo at least 10 to 1

I have a family member who was unable to make it to the polls yesterday due to flight cancellations. If you did not vote in the primary can you vote in the run off?

When I put my ballot in the machine yesterday I asked the guy if he had remembered to reset this here machine to stop counting all the votes for Joe Biden. I'm a a-hole. But I did laugh and tell him I appreciated his volunteering his time.

Here is the good news: Britt is in a runoff so she can stop running against Joe Biden. I hope she is forced to take this opportunity to explain in detail to the people of this State what she intends to do once she gets to Washington.

Her speech last night brought back memories of Howard Dean's acceptance speech after he won the New Hampshire primary years ago.

Hopefully it will torpedo her campaign just like it did his.

In 1990 we voted for a similar amendment that built new cabins / houses, upgraded motels and much needed infrastructure improvements. It was paid off in about ten years. Nothing personal but I don’t need your money or anybody else’s on here to enjoy a damn thing. It was a statewide vote that got it passed. Not a forced tax or governor mandate. And certainly not a bunch of Aldeer I hate everything about the state government voters. So deal with it.

What exactly is wrong with Katie Britt? I’m seriously asking this isn’t rhetorical.

I went to vote yesterday but apparently didn’t update my address when I moved ( same town) and was turned away. Full disclosure I was leaning toward voting for Katie. Why is Mo Brooks a better choice?

South wood I had the same problem. They just simply let me fill out a card, to update my new address and let me Vote.

Other than the impression of being disingenuous, I feel like she’s trying to force people to vote for her vs Mo and Durant trying to earn votes. I get that impression from all the attack ads being run on her behalf.

Mo is goofy and nerdy, but he seems like he really believes in what he’s saying. Just my observations.

If Donald Trump will not endorse you... are you really MAGA? Are you the person to lead "draining the swamp"? The answer is no and that killed Mo. Mo was the anti-establishment candidate, but when the anti-establishment leader removes their endorsement... you can't win on this platform. Britt has zero track record as a politician... nothing. Will see what she can do because its likely she will win in June.

The biggest thing about Alabama Republican politics is the voter base is still very much "center" instead of right-wing. Right wingers do most of the talking and that's what you see in the media but it does not represent the majority of Republican voters in Alabama. A large large portion of Republican voters are Democrats... actual real Democrats. But they have no one that represents them in terms of having a chance to win. Especially this year.

So they vote in the Republican Primaries and the moderate candidates win.

Britt has done noting so we don't know, but Kay Ivey showed you she is not a conservative with the gas tax. And she still won... by alot!

The people of Alabama need to change the state motto. For a long time we have freely given our rights away because some person on tv sold us a line.

That's the worst part of the whole ordeal. I knew that would pass. and I begged people not to vote for it. We have to pay that back, you know?

She lobbied for higher taxes. That should be enough to make anyone who calls themselves fiscally conservative to not vote for her

Britt was president of the Business Council of Alabama. While there, the BCA supported the new gas tax which was forced down our throats. She is a protege of Dick Shelby, who has been grooming her for years a his hand picked successor.

If that's what you like in our government, go vote for her.

With just a little bit of research you could answer your own question. She is not a conservative.
