What exactly is wrong with Katie Britt? I’m seriously asking this isn’t rhetorical.
I went to vote yesterday but apparently didn’t update my address when I moved ( same town) and was turned away. Full disclosure I was leaning toward voting for Katie. Why is Mo Brooks a better choice?
With just a little bit of research you could answer your own question. She is not a conservative. Neither are a lot of so called Alabama Republicans.

I have a family member who was unable to make it to the polls yesterday due to flight cancellations. If you did not vote in the primary can you vote in the run off? You should have voted for her. We were watching Fox 6 and they had a report from a polling station in Bessemer. The reporter was talking about, and interviewing, people that were providing rides to folks that otherwise couldn't get to the polls. Cool. Good deal. Every legal voter has the right to be heard and I would hope if I didn't have a way someone would offer a ride. HOWEVER, she went on to talk about "I even talked to one lady who's mother was unable to get out and vote so she came and voted for her". The wife and I both bolted up and looked at each other, making sure we heard her correctly. Yep. I thought that was illegal. I knew everyone at the place I vote and they still made a copy of my DL. She was bragging on the gal and the good deed she was doing, talking about how her mother also had the right to be heard, even though unable to get out. SMH. So you guys just stay at home next time and I'll vote for y'all.

Britt was president of the Business Council of Alabama. While there, the BCA supported the new gas tax which was forced down our throats. She is a protege of Dick Shelby, who has been grooming her for years a his hand picked successor. If that's what you like in our government, go vote for her. Yes, I've been vocal about how opposed I am to her, let me continue..... Britt is the establishment RINO, hand picked by the uni-party Republicans to be a "fall-in line" voter. Mitch McConnell, the RNC and daddy Shelby have poured millions into getting her elected. What was the last number? It was knocking on close to 20 million. That should be all you need to know about her. She has a lot of IOU's to people who claim to represent the conservatives of this country but vote side-by-side with the democrats. Mo is a fighter who has consistently battled the uni-party garbage. He's hated by mitch. Again, that's all you need to know. Vote for Mo.

The question is, who do the Durant voters dislike more, Mo or Britt. If they all join forces for Mo, he can win. If any of them vote for Britt, she'll be the next Senator from Alabama. The truth is we can speculate, but we really don't know what we have except that she will likely toe the Republican party platform pretty closely, which is far better than a Dem.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Durant himself didn't mince words last night with his feelings about the sleazy campaign sweet lil Katie has run. He's behind Mo in the run off.

I think a lot of the Durant voters were N. Alabama and they will go Britt. Shelby got a lot of money for Huntsville he never met a slushy pork filled bill he didn't like as long as the Democrats or Republicans threw him his bone he was a solid YES. A few hundred million to Pakistan our friends who harbored the Taliban and Bin Laden.... sure... let's throw Shelby a few million and he's a yes vote says Schumer. Who else can we get?
This is the problem with Washington and why the Democrats continue to win and use the Republicans as a dam punching bag to beat up on daily.
This runoff is a good thing. I hope that Mo takes the opportunity here to come out and specifically say what he is going to do about our kids getting taught gender confusion, border security, corruption in Washington, Ministry of Truths, Hunter's Laptop?
That is the ONLY thing that could force Britt into telling us exactly what her plan is.
Mo might get elected if he comes out and tells us some details about what his plans are. But either way - we need both of them to get on record. Britt needs to stop running against Joe Biden and give us some details.

Glad to see that amendment one passed. Hopefully these improvements will happen soon. Those of you that voted no please get out to a state park with your family and enjoy them. And those of you that voted yes, please feel free to take our billfolds out and enjoy them. In 1990 we voted for a similar amendment that built new cabins / houses, upgraded motels and much needed infrastructure improvements. It was paid off in about ten years. Nothing personal but I don’t need your money or anybody else’s on here to enjoy a damn thing. It was a statewide vote that got it passed. Not a forced tax or governor mandate. And certainly not a bunch of Aldeer I hate everything about the state government voters. So deal with it. I have had reservations at one of our state parks for several weeks and plan to enjoy my weekend. It appears I have rubbed a raw spot so I hope you can get over it quickly and have a great weekend yourself.
