I’m looking forward to this one myself
I have to say Northman was awful

I’d like to see it but don’t care much for Tom Cruise as an actor.

Same here. It's been several years since I've been in a theater but I'm going to see this one.

Had a date with my wife to go see it last Saturday night but life happened and we would have walked into the theater about an hour late. We'll try again soon. Good to know that it will be worth it.

Tom Cruise is a bonafide weirdo but I’ll never forget a story my marine buddy told me once. Tom’s private jet actually flew over them while in formation on base and he requested permission to land. He came out of the jet and this was when he was dating Penelope Cruz and she was with him. He shook every marines hand and let them call their families up there and everything. He didn’t leave until the last person was gone. There was no media or reporters, he solely did it for those marines. Now I may not agree with everything you do but to a bunch of leathernecks out on a flight line that boosted morale big time and he didn’t have to do it. I always thought that was cool.

Wonder if that was before or after that sack said his job was comparable to being deployed in Afghanistan

Damn... Y'all get me thinking about heading over in the truck with Mrs. Irish to the 411 Drive-in in Centre and watching the thing tonight. I can throw some beer, wine and the beach chairs in the back and we'll be chittin' in high cotton.

Now that's how to watch a movie at a movie theater. I might not have the same type beverages, and you didn't mention snacks.

For the ones that have seen it already, would it be appropriate for an 11yo? GomerJr is wanting to see it. I’m not concerned with a few bad words within reason, more concerned with “adult situations”….

Saw it last night and I was surprised. It was way better than I thought it would be. And besides one "F" bomb that I can remember it would be fine for him.

Yes. It’s more youngster appropriate than you’d expect in my opinion
