Is anyone else experiencing a recent infestation of house flies?
We went from having zero flies in the kitchen one minute to ten the next! They are mostly trying to get out of the bay windows. We cannot find where they are coming from. We have searched all outside entrances with no luck.
The wife took out the few house plants we have in one window, and it has helped quite a bit.
This has occurred the last three days after many days of rainfall.

Could be drain flies based on location

Happened to us last year
I bought those add water hang up fly traps
They smell like rotten meat and I learned quickly to move them away from the house

We have had Drain flys last year . Have clean out the trap under sink. Thats where they hatch. I put baking soda an vinegar down sink at night then put stopper in . Usually kills them . Them hang up stickie thing will catch most of them.

I'm smoking pork butt and man it seems anytime I cook pork on the grill flies are everywhere

Throw extra lime on the bodies in the crawlspace...

3 weeks ago I saw the first fly outside, now there are a few dozen. Will be hundreds in the coming weeks
