benchpress 185lbs twenty-five times and is able to deadlift 415lbs.
clocking a 4.9secs in the 40-yard dash.
The exciting DL talent is a wrestler during the summer, with his Twitter bio also boasting of a 3.36 GPA.
regardless of pencil legs, being a wrestler too I bet he can hold his own. I watched some of his camp drills and pretty explosive off the ball. He is only 14yo, if he can keep healthy and biggest of all the right mindset he will be a force.
It isn't necessary to see a good tackle...you can hear it.

Reminds me of a kid that played with us. He hit puberty as a 10 yr old and was about that developed in 7th and 8th grade (just not as big, prob 5'10" and about 220). At age 12 or 13 in 7th and 8th grade, he absolutely dominated everyone in our county at the middle school/junior high level. He was literally a man playing with boys and an absolute beast on both sides of the ball. Fast forward 5-6 yrs and we are all seniors and have all grown into men. He was still the same size as he was 7th or 8th grade, exact same height, just a little heavier and a little stronger, still just as dumb, and while still a good player, he was no longer a dominant force to be reckoned with on every play. Kid in that pic is most likely the same way. Big parents, early grower with plenty of testosterone, hit his growth spurt way early for his age, but most likely he's about as big as he gonna be.

Legs look kinda small. Has kind of a high center of gravity for line play but good luck to him, he's a hoss.

Deep down he wishes he had my body Jmud, stating something that obvious.......is really just bragging. Not that he'll be successful in achieving it, but at least in his case, he's only 14 and can continue to work toward that goal. Took me 50 years to create this padding for my abs. Dont be hatin abolt

I agree he can put on more muscle. I was referring more to him continuing to play football. His body type and speed (or lack thereof, 4.9 in middle school or freshman football is really probably a 5.4 or more, when you put on the vest and run on the laser) lends him to pretty much playing only o-line or d-line. Both positions, at the college level and beyond, have gotten to the point where you are undersized if you're not at least 6'4". If he already weighs 285 at 14, he can probably certainly put on another 40 but that will decrease he speed even more. He could probably play at a D2 or D3 school but unless he grows another 3-5" in height, HS or D2 will be the end of his football carrier. With his body type, he needs to get into powerlifting.
And if he goes the powerlifting route, he's eventually going to have to say hello to a squat rack, sometime in the future. LOL

LOL My goodness gracious, that’s a heaping helping of speculation … you’ve figured out his whole career based on one pic 🤣 he could just as likely be 6’9” 350lb when he graduates.

To your point, there are the exceptions that just keep growing, and no doubt he will almost certainly put on more muscle and weight. That said, I've been around and helped coach a pile of 7-12 grade kids in the 13-19 yr old range in football and baseball over the last 20 years and seen it time and again. With that kind of development, that young, musculature wise, if he's not already done, there's a very high chance that he's pretty much done. 95% of Published Middle or HS 40 times are almost always off by 3-6/10ths when they finally get a true/official 40 time and it's not their own coaches standing there with a stopwatch. D1 height wise, I havent checked but I'll bet you a $ that there's not a single O-line or D-line player on either AL or AU's roster that is less than 6'3" with 90% being 6'4 to 6'7". Kid's speed, weight and body type relegates him to just those two positions once he gets beyond HS. Lastly, it's obvious from the pic that he's been neglecting the lower half in the weight room. Just the facts.
