Other than a gig, stringer, submersible light, and a backup flashlight, are there any essentials to make sure that you have? Bug spray and dip net. You will likely see a crap ton of blue crabs. What are you toting the crabs in once you catch them?

What are you toting the crabs in once you catch them? I carry a mesh sports bag instead of a stringer. I just throw the crabs and flounder in it.

I used to use a burlap sack and wore it like a cotton picking sack. All fine and dandy until about a 5 foot bull shark grabbed the sack. Use a stringer.

My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

The gig that I got is basically just an aluminum rod with a built end stringer on the end of. Once you stick a fish it just slides down the rod and onto the stringer.
