About 275 yards on a doe using a 280 back in 1994. Now days, all my shots are 200 or less.

296 yards freehand (father-in-law was a witness and it was ranged after the shot). Just over 300 yards in a shooting house with a steady rest.

Somewheres I got a spotting scope video of me shooting an elk at 620 yds. DRT. I'll look for it.

A little over 500 with a Steyr Mountain .308. Doe came out in a woods road. Friend was watching thru binoculars. Usually limit my shots to 300 yds or less.
