I’ve gotten in a new lease this year and am in the process of scouting for bow season. I’m looking to purchase a few cameras and understand from the other members that cell cameras don’t work well where we are (plus they’re expensive). What “conventional” SD card type cameras have y’all had success with. Bonus if they’re in the cheaper ($30-$60) range. Sorry if this has been discussed recently, I just didn’t see it.

Tasco from Walmart. $28. Get the extra protection plan for $2-3.

I would take my cell phone with me while scouting and check for signal. You can get Reveal cell cams for $100 all day long in ATT or Verizon. I was told cell camera coverage was spotty and found out most had Verizon. I have ATT and have 7 Reveals out and they work fine in the areas where they report weak signals. In the spots where the signal is weak I do miss some via cell transmission but they get captured on the SIM cards.

Bought a Tasco yesterday and hooked it on a Spy Point cell Link with Version. have a cell camera for under $100 and the plan is only $5.00 a month for $250 pictures.
Camera worked well with it

I don't pay the extra. I just take it back if it craps out. Never had any problems.
